What is the difference between an AR and a Carson fellow?

The main differences between Affiliated Researchers and Carson fellows are the funding and the type of project each are working on. Carson fellows receive stipends to complete large writing projects. ARs receive service contracts to prepare grant applications for what will hopefully be a future research position or project at the RCC.

While in residence, the ARs and Carson fellows enjoy the same privileges and access to administrative support, office space, and events. Carson fellows and ARs both present their work at Works-in-Progress and/or Lunchtime Colloquium.
