Carson Fellows Stefania Gallini and Claudia Leal Elected SOLCHA Presidents

Carson Fellows Stefania Gallini and Claudia Leal were elected President of SOLCHA, the Latin American and Caribbean Society for Environmental History, at the Sixth Symposium in June 2012 in Villa de Leyva, Colombia. Gallini and Leal are both founding members of the organization and were also the conference organizers for the Sixth Symposium. The recent sixth symposium also saw presentations by many RCC staff and fellows as well as Advisory Board Chair Jane Carruthers. For more information, please visit the conference page.
