Lawrence Culver Announces Program

2012 Meeting of the American Society for Environmental History

As chair of the Program Committee for the American Society for Environmental History’s 2012 conference in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, Lawrence Culver is delighted to present the program for the 2012 ASEH conference, which will take place 28 March to 31 March.  You can view or download it online.

The 2012 conference will feature a plenary session sponsored by the Rachel Carson Center observing the 50th anniversary of the publication of Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring, and examining Carson’s legacy.  The plenary session will include RCC director Christof Mauch and Alumna Carson Fellow Lisa Sideris.  Culver will serve as moderator for the plenary session.

The ASEH 2012 conference will also include a reunion for all Carson Fellows, Alumni Fellows, and RCC staff in attendance at the conference.  For more information on the reunion, contact Lawrence at lawrence.culver (at) usu.edu .
