Gesa Lüdecke joined the Rachel Carson Center in 2019 as director of the Environmental Studies Certificate Program. Gesa received her diploma in environmental sciences at Leuphana University in 2007, and completed her doctorate in 2012 with a dissertation entitled “Media and Climate-Related Responsible Behavior.” Before joining the RCC, she worked at universities in Lüneburg and Boulder, Colorado, and executed the climate campaign “München Cool City” in Munich.
