    The RCC Lunchtime Colloquium Series allows fellows of the Rachel Carson Center to present their research to other fellows, to staff, and to the general public. more

    To strengthen the role of the humanities in current political and scientific debates about the environment and to involve the general public in this dialogue, the Rachel Carson Center realizes exhibitions at the Deutsches Museum and other venues. They present environmental research in the context of current public discussions in an informative and participatory manner. more

  • Green Visions Film Series


    The series screens environmental documentaries from across the world, followed by discussions with directors, environmental experts, and film scholars. more

  • Networks


    The Rachel Carson Center maintains partnerships with various local and international organizations, helping to anchor us in a network of academic and non-academic organizations in Munich and beyond. more

  • Projects and Collaborations


    In addition to the research of the individual fellows, the RCC has sponsored or been involved in a number of larger research projects, often in partnership with other academic institutions. more

  • Turku Book Award


    The Turku Book Award is jointly sponsored by the RCC and the European Society for Environmental History (ESEH) and is awarded biennually at the ESEH conference. more
