Epochal Life Worlds: Humans, Nature, and Technology in Narratives of Crisis and Change

“Epochal Life Worlds: Man, Nature and Technology in Narratives of Crisis and Change” is one of the projects of the Joint Center for Advanced Studies “Worldmaking from a Global Perspective: A Dialogue with China,” which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The Joint Center offers research and visiting fellowships for scholars from any country to visit Heidelberg or Munich on the topic of “Epochal Life Worlds: Humans, Nature, and Technology in Narratives of Crisis and Change.” Each year, fellows are invited to attend an international workshop at the RCC in Munich. The project is run by Prof. Dr. Hans van Ess (LMU) and Prof. Dr. Christof Mauch (LMU) in Munich and by Prof. Dr. Barbara Mittler at Heidelberg University.

You can find more information on the project's website.
