Former Landhaus Fellows Nye Merrill-Glover and Nick Earhart Take Up New Postdoc Positions
15.07.2025
Two of our former Landhaus fellows, Aneurin (Nye) Merrill-Glover and Nicholas (Nick) Earhart have recently landed new postdoc positions.
Environmental historian Nye Merrill-Glover stayed at the Landhaus in the winter of 2022–23 with the project “‘The Whole Body of the Fenne’” on the socio-cultural context to how contemporaries understood the Fenland. In 2023, he started his new research associate position at the University of Bristol, UK, as part of the Peatscapes: Carbon Futures in the Mire? project. You can find out more about the project in this recent article.
Writer and researcher Nick Earhart joined us at the Landhaus in the winter 2023–24 and worked on the project “The Poetics of the Los Angeles River” there. He will soon be starting a two-year postdoc in English and visual culture at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), USA.
We would like to warmly congratulate both Nick and Nye on their wonderful achievements and wish them all the best in their academic careers!
