Elizabeth Hennessy Awarded $5 Million Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Grant
Grant to develop antiracist curricula for the sciences

RCC alumna Elizabeth Hennessy has been awarded a three-year $5 million grant to focus on antiracism literacy in the sciences and medicine. As part of the grant, researchers will collect oral histories from minority students with the aim of developing antiracist curricula, as well as deliver faculty training sessions and short courses where students and staff can learn about scientific racism.
