Alumnus Azeez Olaniyan Appointed Professor of Political Science

We are delighted to announce that former Carson fellow Azeez Olaniyan has been appointed a Professor of Political Science at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Nigeria!
Azeez's work focuses on environmental conflicts and security, ethnic politics, social movements, and environmental politics. During his time at the RCC, Azeez worked on a project entitled “Forest Reserves as Security Threats in Nigeria.”
