Environmental Studies Certificate Program Students Win the 2017 LMU Sustainability Award

The RCC congratulates two students from the Environmental Studies Certificate Program who recently won first prize in a sustainability competition at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität! Alexander Hausmann and MD Safiqul Islam were awarded the prize for a rooftop garden design that they proposed as a way of greening the back of the University’s Schellingstraße 3 building. The competition encouraged innovative ideas on how to make the LMU more sustainable.
