Managing Editor Katie Ritson Receives Research Grant

Katie Ritson (RCC Managing Editor) recently received a research grant from the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) to work on her provisionally titled dissertation "Shifting Sands: The Landscapes of the North Sea in the Literary Imagination." Ritson will be on research leave in Norway until April 2014 and is supported by the LMU's Institut für Nordische Philologie and Universitetet i Stavanger (Uis). UiS is also the home of Carson Alumna Eva Jakobsson, who recently designed and started teaching the first ever postgraduate (MA) course in environmental history at UiS.
