LMU Advisory Senate Approves Environmental Studies Certificate Program
16.07.2014
The RCC’s certificate program in Environmental Studies has been passed by the LMU Advisory Senate. This gives the program official standing and allows students from other universities participating in the program to enroll at LMU and use the university's infrastructure.
The two-year program gives graduate students from all disciplines a chance to consider the interactions between environment and society in new ways through interdisciplinary coursework and discussions with researchers from around the world. The first cohort of 28 students joined the program in the winter semester 2013/14.
Applications for the upcoming academic year will be accepted until 1 October. Read more about the certificate program here. For a flavor of the certificate program's activities, please visit our blog to read a report on the inaugural graduate student place-based workshop in Osterseen.
