Angela Kreutz Awarded DAAD Postdoctoral Exchange Grant

15.05.2014

RCC Visiting Scholar Angela Kreutz will participate in a two-year DAAD postdoctoral exchange program between the RCC and the Children, Youth, & Environments Community Engagement Center at the University of Colorado. The Center is part of the University's Program in Environmental Design.

Angela's dissertation, entitled "Munu Gukooreree: The Experience of Space and Place Amongst Children in an Aboriginal Community," was a transdisciplinary study situated between environmental psychology, ecological psychology, and environment behavior studies. It was an in-depth research study of indigenous children’s environments within a contemporary community context.

Angela continues to work in this area. She recently contributed to an RCC Perspectives volume on transdisciplinarity entitled "Minding the Gap: Working Across Disciplines in Environmental Studies". To download the volume, please visit the RCC Perspectives website.
