RCC Director Christof Mauch to Give Keynote Speech

Workshop Entitled "Why Is There So Little Green in Czech and Slovak History?"

The workshop, which looks at the horizons of multi- and interdisciplinary cooperation in environmental history, takes place on Friday, 28 March 2014 in Brno. Whilst it focuses specifically on Czech and Slovakian attitudes, the workshop also aims to present different perspectives on environmental history and propose a definition of this field.

Christof Mauch will present a keynote speech at the beginning of the program. His speech is entitled "Down to Earth: On the Challenges and Advantages of Doing Environmental History."
