Donald Worster Takes Up New Role at Renmin University, China

Retires from University of Kansas

Donald Worster retired from his professorship in US and environmental history at the University of Kansas in May 2012; Worster joined the University of Kansas in 1989. Worster will continue to be active in the world of environmental history as he has signed a multi-year contract with Renmin University, China as a “distinguished foreign expert.” He will spend a few months in China every year and will primarily serve as the honorary director for the newly opened Center for Ecological History at Renmin.
