Edmund Russell Takes Up New Position
Hall Distinguished Professor in US History, University of Kansas

Edmund Russell will begin his new role as the Hall Distinguished Professor in United States History at the University of Kansas in January 2013. Russell will be succeeding Donald Worster who retired in May; Worster is also an Alumnus Fellow.
Russell has also been made an extraordinary member of the Human Sciences Center at LMU Munich. Russell has collaborated with this Center on his neurohistory project, which he began during his fellowship. Furthermore, Russell was also made a fellow of the Institute of the Humanities and Global Cultures at the University of Virginia from 2012-13.
