Hot Off the Press: Two New Issues of Perspectives Journal

21.03.2012

The RCC has just rolled out two new issues of its online Perspectives Journal.

"Revisiting Risk Society: A Conversation with Ulrich Beck" commemorates the 25th year of Beck's groundbreaking book Risk Society. An interdisciplinary set of scholars offer their reflections on the broader implications of a risk society for social relations, environmental politics, material agency, global connections, and history.

"The Flow of Empire: Comparing Water Control in the United States and China" is based on a talk given by the distinguished environmental historian and former Carson Fellow Donald Worster on the water empires of China and the United States.

Both are available online and are free to download in full color and printer-friendly versions.
