Reinhold Leinfelder Announces Diverse Publications

Science Blog, Flagship Report for Rio+20, and Diverse Articles

Carson Fellow Reinhold Leinfelder has been actively publishing in diverse mediums in the last six months.

Leinfelder, a council member of the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WGBU), has been involved in a variety of publications from the German government on issues of sustainability. Leinfelder assisted with the preparation of the latest flagship report, World in Transition: A Social Contract for Sustainability, which is the WGBU’s contribution to the Rio+20 conference in June 2012. In addition, Leinfelder has also contributed to several factsheets including:

 

 

Furthermore, Leinfelder has also published two articles on his RCC research. One article, published in 2011 in Geowisschenschaftliche Mitteilungen 46, explains the relevance of the Anthropocene for the earth sciences. A further article on academic communication in research museums was included in the 2011 published conference summary from the 2007 autumn meeting in Brunswick, Germany on academia and research in museums (Herbsttagung Braunschweig 2007: Wissenschaft und Forschung im Museum).

Leinfelder is now contributing to a new science blog on the Anthropocene, hosted by Spektrum der Wissenschaft (Perspectives on Science), entitled 'Der Anthropozäniker'(The Anthropocinist).
