The RCC is looking forward to another great set of presentations and discussions with the kick-off of our Autumn 2012 Lunchtime Colloquium today, October 18. We invite anyone in the Munich area with an interest in the environmental humanities to attend.

Michelle Mart, an associate professor of history at Pennsylvania State University (USA) and current Carson Fellow, will start the series with her talk entitled "Learning to Love Pesticides: A Look at Popular American Attitudes."

Presentations by other Carson Fellows will take place throughout October and November. The lineup includes Sarah Cameron, an assistant professor of history at the University of Maryland-College Park (USA); Siddhartha Krishnan from the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (India); Christopher Pastore, an assistant professor of history at the University of Montana (USA); and Grace Karskens, an associate professor of history at the University of New South Wales (Australia).

The RCC's Lunchtime Colloquium is free and open to the public. All take place in Munich at the Katholische Hochschulgemeinde (Leopoldstr. 11) and start at 12:00, unless otherwise noted.
