Chair of Advisory Board Jane Carruthers Receives Honors

The Chair of the RCC Academic Advisory Board, Jane Carruthers, has been elected a Member of the Academy of Science of South Africa. The Academy was founded in 1994;membership is extremely competitive, and many applications are turned down. Carruthers is also an elected fellow and currently vice-president of the long-established Royal Society of South Africa, which was founded in the 1820s and has had a royal charter for more than a century.
