Franziska Torma Wins the Feldman Travel Grant

Research Fellow Franziska Torma has won a Gerald D. Feldman travel grant. The Feldman grant is sponsored by the Foundation of German Humanities Institutes Abroad (DGIA) and it aims to improve the professional opportunities for outstanding, internationally orientated humanities academics. Torma will travel to Rome, Paris, and Washington, D.C. to conduct research on her RCC project, ''The Oceanic Ecosystem: Humanity and the Seven Seas between Internationalism, Science, and Environmentalism, 1850 - circa 2000.''
