Lawrence Culver Announces ASEH's 2012 Meeting

Conference topic is "From the Local to the Global: Ethics, Environmentalism, and Environmental History in an Interdependent World"

Lawrence Culver is the chair of the program committee for the 2012 meeting of the American Society for Environmental History (ASEH), which will be held on 28-31 March 2012 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The conference theme will be "From the Local to the Global: Ethics, Environmentalism, and Environmental History in an Interdependent World."

ASEH encourages proposals for papers, panels, roundtables, and posters from all geographical areas, chronological eras, and methodological approaches to Environmental History. Culver especially encourages any current or former RCC fellows, staff, or students to consider submitting proposals for it. ASEH should also have a limited number of travel grants available to help defray conference travel costs for graduate students. The deadline for submitting proposals is 1 July 2011.
