Gallini Announces the Launch of New Journal

The Latin American and Caribbean Society for Environmental History (SOLCHA) is launching its new journal entitled HALAC: Historia Ambiental Latinoamericana y Caribeña

Stefania Gallini is happy to announce the launch of a new journal created by the Latin American and Caribbean Society for Environmental History (SOLCHA). The journal, entitled Historia Ambiental  Latinoamericana y Caribeña (HALAC) was founded during the V. Simposium of SOLCHA in La Paz, B.C. Méxicoin, 2010. It publishes scholarly articles related to any aspects of environmental history with a special focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. The journal is a biannual, peer reviewed, openly accessible journal.

Brazilian environmental historian Regina H. Duarte at the University of Belo Horizonte is the creator of this exciting new project.
