Victor Ojakorotu is a professor of international relations at North-West University (NWU), South Africa. He graduated with a first-class honours BS and a subsequent MS in international relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and holds a PhD in international relations from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), South Africa. He has 28 years of academic experience, working at Obafemi Awolowo University, University of KwaZulu-Natal, and IIE MSA. Currently, he holds a position as deputy director of the School of Government Studies, NWU, and was recently appointed honorary professor at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, South Africa. His research interests include peace and conflict issues, social movements, environmentalism, peace advocacy, and interethnic harmony in local communities in Africa. Victor has published over 120 articles in various journals and edited more than seven books.
