Reed Evans

Reed Evans, M.A.

Visiting Scholar

Reed Evans is a sustainability consultant who has worked in Sweden and in Germany. She has worked as a collaborating partner of TerraLocke Sustainability Consultants Chicago, Futerra Stockholm, and Agado, Association for Sustainable Development Munich. She also worked as a communication and sustainability manager for the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP) in Stockholm. Reed has taught sustainability and participatory process courses at the University of Applied Sciences, Munich, and, in 2014, taught a Participatory Leadership towards Sustainable Development block seminar at the Rachel Carson Center. She has developed and facilitated both stakeholder engagement and sustainability strategy processes and workshops for public and private sector organizations, helping them develop more sustainable practices. She has a MSc in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from Blekinge Institute of Technology and an MA in teaching from National Louis University.

Reed has written several sustainability reports guided by the Global Reporting Initiative for international companies and has served as editor of a series of six science policy briefs focused on the Sustainability Development Goals for the Tokyo Institute of Technology. She has just begun research on a book project focused on sustainability and women entrepreneurship.
