Daniela Bañuelos is currently a PhD candidate in the Advanced Studies on Human Rights program at the Charles III University of Madrid (UC3M), Spain. She holds a master’s degree in human rights from the same university and another master’s degree specializing in public international law from Menendez Pelayo International University (UIMP) in Madrid, Spain. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in law from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico. Additionally, she has completed an internship at the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva, Switzerland, and has worked as a human rights consultant in Mexico.
Over the last two years, she has actively participated in numerous workshops and conferences related to the current ecological crisis, with an approach from the human rights perspective.
