Dipl. Ing. Regine Keller

Regine Keller focuses on issues of current landscape architecture and of the development of public spaces. It involves searching for landscape architectural solutions that meet the present-day needs of both rural and urban areas. In the design of urban spaces, the central focus is on quality of life and an ecological urban environment. After studying art history and dramatics at LMU Munich and landscape architecture at TUM, Regine Keller became a research assistant at TUM in landscape architecture and design under Prof. Christoph Valentien. Before her present post as full professor at TUM, Keller taught at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Keller is a member of the Bavarian Architects' Association (BYAK), the Federation of German Landscape Architects (BDLA), the Deutsche Werkbund, and the German Academy for Urban Planning and Regional Development (DASL). She is an appointed member of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts, and the Academy of Arts, Berlin, and part of the Baukollegium of the Senatsbauverwaltung Berlin. She is also a member of the Humboldt Foundation Stipends Committee and the Goethe Institut. From 2009 to 2011 she was Dean of the Department of Architecture at TUM. From 2011 to 2014 she was elected Senior-Vice President of TUM. Keller has run her own design studio, Keller Damm Kollegen, since 1998.
