Reworkshop: A Two-Day Writing Lab

Reworkshop: A Two-Day Writing Lab was held at the RCC in Munich on 29 and 30 January 2024. The workshop was led by former RCC Researcher in Residence Rowan Deer and had ten participants. Over the two days, participants were guided to think deeply about the elements that constitute an engaging academic text—the opening and ending, a clear argument, a logical and compelling structure, and beautiful style. Participants then had the opportunity to apply these insights to a work in progress. The workshop also provided the space for participants to discuss their draft with Rowan and the group, so that each could benefit from collaborative feedback on any writing or editing issues they were facing.
