New RCC Perspectives issues, new volumes in ''Environment in History: International Perspectives''

Three new RCC Perspectives issues are due to be published in late 2016, with "Environmental Knowledge, Environmental Politics" edited by Jonathan Clapperton and Liza Piper due out very soon - watch this space for further details!

Volume 9 of the RCC series “Environment in History: International Perspectives” published by Berghahn books appeared in July. The Nature of German Imperialism: Conservation and the Politics of Wildlife in Colonial East Africa was written by RCC alumnus Bernhard Gißibl.

Volume 6, Fault Lines: Earthquakes and Urbanism in Modern Italy, by Giacomo Parrinello, has received awards from the American Association of Italian Studies (AAIS) and SISSCO (Society of Historians of Modern Italy).
