New Publication "Technofutures, Nature and the Sacred: Transdisciplinary Perspectives" Co-Edited by Sigurd Bergmann

27.04.2015

Carson Fellow alumnus Sigurd Bergmann is co-editor of the book Technofutures, Nature, and the Sacred: Transdisciplinary Perspectives, which has recently been published by Ashgate.

Using insights from the environmental humanities, this book looks at the intersection between technology, religion, and society from a transdisciplinary perspective. The implicit religious claims embedded in technology are explored by the authors, and the reader is encouraged to reflect on the significance and place of religious beliefs in dealing with new technologies.
