Responses to Recent Conference 'Toxic Legacies - Agent Orange as a Challenge'

04.09.2015

The recent 'Toxic Legacies - Agent Orange as a Challenge' conference looked at the legacy and historical lessons of Agent Orange, the most infamous of the defoliating herbicides used by the US military during the Vietnam War. Over fifty participants gathered in Tutzing for a three-day event with speakers giving legal, historical, and even eyewitness accounts. For more information about the talks, please read the RCC conference report. In addition, the conference was featured in one of Germany's leading newspapers, Die Süddeutsche Zeitung. And finally, the former director of the Agent Orange in Vietnam Program at the Aspen Institute, Charles Bailey, has published his speech on the Aspen Institute's website.
