Robert Emmett joins Rachel Carson Center
New Director of Academic Programs

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Emmett has joined the Rachel Carson Center as Director of Academic Programs. He completed a B.A. in English (Modern Studies) and French at the University of Virginia and received an M.A. and PhD in English from UW-Madison. During his PhD, Robert was a project assistant at the Center for Culture, History, and Environment at UW-Madison.
As Director of Academic Programs, Robert helps to develop and facilitate various strategic partnerships. He serves as a co-convener for RCC events and workshops and represents the RCC at conferences and events around the world. He also supports the RCC in fundraising and grant-writing.
