Wilko Graf von Hardenberg named Acting Director

Wilko Graf von Hardenberg will be serving as the Acting Director for the Environment & Society Portal for six months while Project Director Kimberly Coulter is on leave. Graf von Hardenberg, a former Carson Fellow, brings diverse experience in the digital humanities to the Portal team. The Environment & Society Portal launched in November 2011; the Portal is a nonprofit education and research project that aims to make environmental humanities materials freely and openly accessible. The goal is to cultivate the spirit of exploration and serendipity that characterizes research, allowing users to find—in a digital environment—unexpected results.
