Director Helmuth Trischler Awarded Prestigious Fellowship

RCC Director Helmuth Trischler was awarded a research fellowship at the Netherlands Institute of Advanced Study in Wassenaar from February – June 2011. His project, entitled “Knowledge Societies, Expert Networks, and Innovation Cultures in Europe, 1850-2000” and in collaboration with Martin Kohlrausch, aims to examine the transnational exchange of knowledge via expert networks. In addition, Trischler and Kohlrausch’s research will focus on the role of scientific organizations and institutions in a European context with particular emphasis on their role globally since the First World War.
