McCorristine Organizes Workshop
Ghosts and Apparitions in the Field

Together with Dr. Olga Ulturgasheva, former Carson Fellow Shane McCorristine co-organized a workshop entitled "Ghosts and Apparitions in the Field: An International Workshop" held on 27 May 2011 at the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) of the University of Cambridge. The workshop, according to the SPRI's website, was "aimed at exploring the multiple notions and constructs of the ghost and the ghostly, broadly defined, in the current research of anthropologists and historians."
