A stunning documentary that takes us to the Greenland ice sheet alongside three of the world’s leading glaciologists. With their groundbreaking research, Jason Box, Alun Hubbard, and Dorthe Dahl-Jensen contribute to finding out just how fast the ice is really melting—and the ensuing implications for humankind. Startling new discoveries are paired with spectacular nature and expedition footage, including footage of the researchers’ nearly 180-meters descent into a glacier mill—a world record.

A discussion with Anna-Maria Walter (Rachel Carson Center) will follow the screening.

The original version of the film will be shown with German voiceover. The discussion will be held in German.

Free and open to the public.
