DE: Der Mut machende Dokumentarfilm zeigt anhand positiver Beispiele aus Frankreich, England und Kuba, wie wir uns auf dem Land und in den Städten auf die doppelte Herausforderung von Klimawandel und Erdölknappheit vorbereiten können. Eindrucksvolle Bilder veranschaulichen, wie wir durch die Stärkung lokaler Strukturen, die erdölunabhängig funktionieren, und durch einen intelligenten Umgang mit Ressourcen, Verantwortung für die Zukunft übernehmen können.
EN: This courageous documentary uses positive examples from France, England and Cuba, to illustrate the ways in which rural and urban populations might prepare for the consequences of climate change and oil scarcity. Impressive images show how, through strengthening local infrastructures reliant on oil, and using resources cleverly, we can take responsibility for our future.
A discussion with the director Nils Aguilar will follow the screening.
