Presentations by Fiona Cameron, Johannes Schubert, and Sherry Johnson

Carson Fellow Fiona Cameron presents two papers: "From Mitigation to Creativity: The Agency of Museums and Science Centres and the Means to Govern Climate Change," and "Saving the 'Disappearing Islands': Climate Change Governance, Pacific Island States and Cosmopolitan Dispositions"

Also, Johannes Schubert, an LMU sociologist, will present on his dissertation, which deals with climate change in the Alps.

Finally, Sherry Johnson, former Carson fellow and faculty member at Florida International University, will talk about her new book Climate and Catastrophe in Cuba and the Atlantic World in the Age of Revolution.

The Climate Discusion Group is an open forum of and for people with an interest in climate change-related topics. It meets on a monthly basis to host a variety of activities, such as project presentations, guest lectures, discussions of literature, book presentations, etc.
