Alumni Rob Gioielli Appointed Coeditor of Ohio Valley History

The RCC congratulates former Carson Fellow Rob Gioielli for his appointment to coeditor of Ohio Valley History.
A joint publication of the University of Cincinnati, Filson Historical Society in Kentucky, and the Cincinnati Museum Center, OVH is the premier scholarly journal for the nine state region that makes up the Ohio River Valley in the United States. The goal of the journal is to highlight the national and international importance of this region's history.
Gioielli will be working to expand its publication of environmental history.
A modern American historian, Gioielli worked on a manuscript entitled ''Hard Asphalt and Heavy Metals: An Environmental History of the Urban Crisis'' while at the RCC. His research focuses on how the perception and experience of the urban environment has shaped social movements, politics, and policy.
