Patrick Kupper Completes His Habilitation

Former Carson Fellow Patrick Kupper has completed his habilitation, or qualification as a university lecturer, at ETH Zurich. On 1 August 2011, he will receive his venia legendi for teaching "modern history with a special concentration on environmental, technological, and knowledge history."
His habilitation thesis, Wildnis schaffen: Eine transnationale Geschichte des Schweizerischen Nationalparks (Creating Wilderness: A Transnational History of the Swiss National Park) will be published by Haupt-Verlag in spring 2012.
