Andrei Vinogradov

Andrei Vinogradov completed his dissertation in historical sciences in 2013 at the Institute of History of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences. His dissertation was titled “Environmental Issues of Industrial Development of Kazan Province (Nineteenth to Early-Twentieth Centuries).” Since 2011, Andrei has been employed as an assistant professor and senior lecturer at Kazan Federal University, and in 2018 joined the Doctoral Program Environment and Society at the Rachel Carson Center. His current project is aimed at studying of public resistance to pollution of the environment by industrial waste in the late Russian Empire.
