Arielle Helmick completed her doctorate at LMU Munich in 2011 with her dissertation entitled The Greening of American Popular Music: Environmentalism in Song. She received her MA in American cultural history, American literary history and sociology at LMU Munich. Her Bachelor's degree in women's studies and music is from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
She has worked at the RCC since its inception. She was initially Project Manager for Communications and then Director of Communications before taking up her current role.
