RCC Winter Term Excursion to Nuremberg

06.02.2025 09:00  – 18:00

This is the offical RCC winter term excursion that will bring the RCC to Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German), a beautiful medieval city in Franconia.

The plan is to take the ICE there and back. The first tour is at the Germanische Nationalmuseum (and their exhibition Hello Nature) led by the museum's general director Prof. Dr. Daniel Hess. Then there will be (little) time to explore the city, or to have a relaxed lunchbreak before going to the second tour at the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds.

This event is open for all fellows, visiting scholars, phd students, and staff.

To register, please send an email to Theresa (Theresa.Hilz@rcc.lmu.de).

The RCC will cover the ICE tickets and fees for the guided tour, however we only have a total of 35 tickets available.

Please also note that we'll have to use public transport twice (from the museum or castle to the Documentation Centre and from the Documentation Centre to the train station). If you have a Deutschlandticket you can use it, otherwise you'll need to buy tickets.
