New Book Coauthored by Alumnus Sainath Suryanarayanan

Former fellow Sainath Suryanarayanan, together with Daniel Lee Kleinman, has published a new book titled Vanishing Bees: Science, Politics, and Honeybee Health. The book takes a deep look at an ongoing controversy about the effect of certain newer insecticides on honey bee health. Drawing from extensive interviews with beekeepers, entomologists, growers, agrichemical companies, and government regulators, the authors examine the generation and dissemination of knowledge and how it is connected with the politics of beekeeping and bee science.
