Brazilian and German Environmental Scholars in Dialogue at FAPESP Week Munich

The FAPESP Week Munich symposium on 15–17 October 2014 brought together leading scientists from São Paulo, Brazil, and their German colleagues. It was sponsored by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the Bavarian University Center for Latin America (BAYLAT), and held at the Deutsches Museum; session topics were biotechnology, nanotechnology, energy, and the environment.

RCC Director Christof Mauch moderated a stimulating panel on human-environment relations. Presenters included Carson Professor Eveline Dürr and Affiliated LMU Professor Claudia Binder, as well as Dr. Ricardo Abramovay and Dr. Gilberto Camara Neto from Brazil.
