Timo Myllyntaus Announces New Publications

New Volumes on Environmental History and History of Technology

Timo Myllyntaus has published several texts that he completed during his fellowship at the RCC. While in Munich, he edited a special issue of ICON (journal of the International Committee for the History of Technology) on “Technology for Everyday Life.” Myllyntaus also contributed one-third of the articles including one with an environmental focus entitled “Switching to a Biofuel in the Pinch: Wood Gas in Finnish Motoring during World War II.” Furthermore, the paperback edition of his edited collection Thinking through the Environment: Green Approaches to Global History was released by White Horse Press in August 2012.
