Andrea Kiss to Present Her Research throughout Europe

Carson Fellow Andrea Kiss will be traveling throughout Eastern Europe in August and September 2012 presenting research on her RCC project ''Causes and Consequences of Major Eighteenth-Century Danube Floods at Pest-Buda.'' Kiss will give both a paper and a poster at the International Conference of Historical Geographers in Prague in early August. Then, in early September, Kiss will give a paper entitled ''Locust Outbreaks, Invasions, and Weather in the Carpathian Basin: A Millenial Overview'' at the International Conference of the European Meteorological Society in Lodz, Poland.  Rounding out her travels, Kiss will be once again giving a paper and two posters (one jointly) at the ARKUM conference in Szeged, Hungary in late September.
