Frank Uekötter to Speak in Hiroshima

LMU Fellow Frank Uekötter is invited to speak at an international symposium in Hiroshima. The symposium is co-organized by the Hiroshima Peace Institute of the Hiroshima City University and the Hiroshima Peace Media Center of the local newspaper Chugoku Shimbun.

The symposium “Exploring the Roles of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Japan in the Wake of the 3/11 Nuclear Power Plant Disaster” is scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011.

Uekötter's talk is entitled “How To Abandon Nuclear Power: The German Experience.”
