Stefania Gallini and Shane McCorristine Present Posters at 2011 ESEH Conference

This June/July, RCC staff and former and current Carson Fellows were well represented at the 2011 ESEH Conference in Turku, Finland.
Two former Carson Fellows presented posters at the conference. Stefania Gallini's poster, entitled "The Cartographic Silence in Urban Environmental History: Bogotá, Columbia from the Late Nineteenth to the Mid-Twentieth Century," is a by-product of her research project at the RCC last year. The title of Shane McCorristine's poster was "Spirits of Place in Nineteenth-Century Arctic Exploration."
