Senator George McGovern visits the RCC

In October, Senator George McGovern from the United States visited the RCC. McGovern, a US presidential candidate from 1972, is also currently a UN Ambassador for World Hunger. During his visit, he discussed both issues of hunger and environmentalism with staff and fellows. McGovern was also in Munich to give a talk at the Lasky Center for Transatlantic Studies, entitled 'America in Crisis.'
